When melting chocolate make sure to stir it often and heat slowly, either using the microwave or a double boiler. I prefer using the Ghiradelli Melting Wafers for this as I find they melt and spread easily.

Ghost Detail
To create the ghosts on top you just need a bit more white and dark chocolate. First, melt 2 more ounces of white chocolate and pour it into a plastic bag and cut off the corner to pipe out the chocolate. You can also use a spoon if you prefer.
Remove the Boo-Berry Chocolate Bark out of the fridge and create blobs across the top of the dark chocolate. Then draw out the tails of the ghosts with a toothpick or other pointed tool.[/et_pb_text][el_masonry_gallery image_ids=”675,676,679″ number_of_columns=”3″ _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/el_masonry_gallery][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]Next, melt 1 ounce of dark chocolate and add it to another plastic bag with the corner cut. Add the eyes and mouth to your ghosts and that’s it! You can also use a toothpick to dot them on if you prefer.
Let the Boo-Berry Chocolate Bark chill and harden and then cut or break into pieces. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

Boo-Berry Bark
Ingredients
- 10 ounces Dark Chocolate divided
- 10 ounces White Chocolate divided
- 1/4 cup Almonds
- 1/4 cup Dried Blueberries
Instructions
- Spread out a sheet of parchment or waxed paper. Then melt 8 ounces of white chocolate in the microwave or double boiler. Spread out the melted white chocolate on the parchment paper to about 1/3″ thick. Then dot with dried blueberries and almonds. Place in the fridge to cool for 5 – 10 minutes.
- Next melt 9 ounces of dark chocolate and carefully spoon into the middle of the hardened white chocolate. Then very slowly spread out the dark chocolate so it fully covers the white chocolate. Place this back in the fridge for an additional 5 – 10 minutes.
- Melt the remaining 2 ounces of white chocolate and place in a plastic bag with the tip cut. Then pipe out white chocolate blobs, which will become the ghosts, over the hardened dark chocolate. Then draw out the tails of the white chocolate ghosts with a toothpick.
- Finally melt the remaining 1 ounce of dark chocolate and place in another plastic bag with the tip cut. Pipe out eyes and mouths on the white chocolate ghosts. You can also use a toothpick dipped in the dark chocolate if you find this easier.
- Chill to harden and break or cut into pieces!
