Materials

  • 1/2 Lemon cut into 3 wedges
  • 1/8 - 1/4 cup Berries of your choosing
  • 3 - 5 Fresh Mint or Basil Leaves optional
  • 1 1/2 ounces Vodka
  • 1/2 - 1 ounce Berry or Simple Syrup
  • Sparkling Soda Water for serving
  • Crushed Ice for serving

Instructions

  • Place 2 lemon wedges, berries and herbs (if using) into your cocktail shaker. Muddle them lightly to burst the berries and extract the flavors. (If you don’t have a cocktail muddler you can use a wooden spoon.)
  • Add vodka, berry or simple syrup (the amount will depend on your taste and the type of berries you are using) and ice. Shake until cold and strain into your glass filled with crushed ice.
  • Finally, top with sparkling soda water and garnish with the remaining lemon wedge and fresh berries.
