Baked Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto

Fresh figs are stuffed with herbed soft cheese, wrapped in salty prosciutto, baked and then topped with runny honey and flakey sea salt.

Materials

  • 8 Fresh Figs cut in half
  • 3 oz Soft Cheese
  • 8 slices Prosciutto cut in half
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • Cracked Pepper + Flakey Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze optional

Instructions

  • First, cut off the hard stem of the figs and then cut them in half.
  • Spread each fig half with a bit of the soft cheese.
  • Wrap each fig half in a half slice of prosciutto and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh cracked black pepper.
  • Bake the figs at 350 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes, until the prosciutto is crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with runny honey and sprinkle with flakey sea salt.
  • Serve hot with a balsamic glaze!
